A wand is placed through a hole in a wood block.
After this is done a few times, the wand disappears by about 80% INTO the block.
The wand is now removed from the block and is restored to its original length.
The spectators actually see the wand slowly melting into the block!
It is a very baffling illusion, yet with this mechanical device it is very easy to perform.
